Trish from Alberta, Canada !!! I hope that as a first time commenter on a blog that this will spur you on to write a blog of your own, you sure seem to have things to say and you can't beat a good why did the chicken cross the road joke too ;) Thanks for choosing my blog to be the place to start. Since starting this blog back in June 2007 alot of really good things have happened in my life through people I have contact with on here. Some I have met in "real life" and some I only know online but still it makes for a broader view of the things we do not just as potters but as crazy humans too.
Thankyou all for your comments and I have had a great time lurking only so far, but I hope to catch up again soon on all of your blogs. I must say that the anonymous comment about jugs on that pussy got the loudest outward laugh for sure, but I really did line myself up for that with the photo of our Faline with the pot and I do have a pretty filthy sense of humour too, but filth alone does not merit getting your hands on one of my jugs i'm afraid!
I have been making soap dishes today and a dozen mugs too, got them all done footed, handled and all that jazz and have a glaze firing in with a load of small vases and moneyboxes just warming up nicely, that should keep any frost out of my little shed too! Well onward and upward, I very much enjoyed this little thingy, nice to meet you all and thankyou.
Trish email me your address to mattgrimmitt@aol.com and i'll get the pot winging its way to Canada as soon as possible.
Shiny new pots on here tomorrow, tata for now :)

I am sending you an email as requested.
Your jug will be lovingly cared for on this side of The Pond.:-)

Matt, I have to comment.. great idea! And very generous too I might say. I am a potter (well, 2 years into it, trying to find my niche and style) and I ran across your blog this morning while doing a search on "slipware mugs" I haven't tried slipware, but have been want to this winter. Your pots are beautiful, and definitely inspiring! Keep up the great work.

I should proof- before i hit publish.. meant to say "but want to this winter" lol
Hello Tonya, thanks for the comment. Haha the dreaded publish before reading and then realise what you typed was not what you said in your mind trick! Just been checking out your blog, looks like exciting times over there. Nice pots too, you only have to ask if you need any help if you try out slipware, looks like you may well have your hands full for a while soon though! Cheers.
CRAPOLA! I could have won a CAT? Shoot!
