Something fishy going on in our house.

I've been a right miserable git this week! I don't feel much better today to be honest. The hunt for new employment continues .............

I took these three tankards and tall green bottle over to Number 8 this afternoon, i'm feeling pretty stoked that my pots are selling it's a good feeling to think that someone has seen something they like in my pots. They have gone to people from a wide area, some quite a long way! Thankyou to anyone that has bought a pot it means alot and feels weird as I have become very accustomed to making pots with no intention of selling them and piling them up in our house and giving away some right horrors to family and friends.
I have no mugs left to take sell right now so made a quick batch of ten 1lb ers, these should be in the cabinets by Tuesday. I'm going to get on with some plates tomorrow after work.
All for now.

Not much doing today really, I slipped these three tankards and have a glaze firing on that should almost be finished. Our 16 year old cat Faline hasn't been very well today and we've spent the day making sure she is ok after what looks like she's maybe swallowed a bee or some other stinging creature. She has been in pain and it's not nice to watch, she's so young for such an old cat and it's a bit of a reality check when your pets get sick especially at her age. Have added a bit of verse to the bottle vase with the incising all over it. I am going to make a few more of my pots a bit busier when it comes to incising I think, I used to do lots of drawing when I was in my early teenage years and feel the need for a bit more random sketching on my pots, of course Ron's lovely pots are a big inspiration for this too.

Things are going well over at Number 8 and pots continue to sell. I replaced another four today and didn't get a pic of them before I took them over, doh! I have a bisc firing cooling down, the kiln people replaced my controller on Weds and are sending me some bricks to replace a couple of broken ones too. I got talking to the guy about a bigger kiln and am really tempted to sort either, one out quickly or just add another smaller one so I can use two at once. I can't make the output of pots i'd really like to as a decent days throwing fills the kiln three or four times over now, multiply that by two firings per pot and it becomes gridlock quickly. That's quite a nice feeling though as i've had it a year now and I know things have moved on and I know the direction i'm moving in is the right one!
